After a challenging year professionally and a busy year personally my burning desire to invest my energy into work that fulfilled me and made me happy was the catalyst for the birth of VR Home (was Velvet Rose Home).
See, in 2019 I gave birth to my beautiful twins, so I went from a mum of 1 (gorgeous boy) to a mum of 3! After a short maternity leave, I found the return to 'corporate mode' extremely difficult, and to be honest, I don't think I did or could put 100% into anything; motherhood, work, wifely duties - and this didn't feel good, but I carried on.
Then, 2020 bought the dreaded C word...no, not that one :D, the other one, and like many, the pandemic hit my family hard. It was very overwhelming, working from home, kids home from school, everyone on top of each other...I needed an outlet, something that I enjoy, alone and in peace.

elax, some people paint, some bake, I make 'smellies' as we say in my house.
I have been making reed diffuser fragrances for our home for years, so I decided to create some new smellies for each room. It brought me so much joy - and the rest, as they say, is history.
I am so proud of what I have created; an ever growing range of luxury fragrances, with inspiration from my favorite premium perfume scents, just without the hefty price tag; but most importantly, the range is continuously fragrant and long lasting.
What you see today is a result of me taking a risk I never thought I could take, experiencing happiness I never thought I would experience at 'work', and my dream materialising, so thank you for visiting VR Home, I hope you love my products as much as I do, and many others - you can read my reviews here.
